Edi Tadeu promises to raise the competition for the few open spots in the attack line. His initial impressions were positive.
“I feel great. Everything I had heard about Red Star is true. I have joined a great club that has just won the double crown (championship + national cup in the same year – web ed.). I hope that I will live up to the expectations and help the team continue its winning record. The time is right for me to assume some real responsibility and make everyone happy – especially the fans and management”, were Tadeu’s opening words.
He continued:“I have had several offers from European clubs most of whom were lower-tier. Then, by the end of the season I was approached with some concrete offers by some leading Brazilian clubs. I have heard many great things about Serbia, mostly from my friend Dejan Petkovic with whom I used to play in Vasco da Gama. He spoke to me about Serbian mentality and national cuisine. One difference in the way football is played here is that there appears to be far more contact play”.
Although still young and relatively unknown, Tadeu has already gained valuable experience as a professional footballer.
“I was fortunate enough to play for a great club like Vasco da Gama. We played in Copa Libertadores and won the national and regional championship in Brazil. At the World Cup Brazil seems to be progressing on schedule, although I can’t say that I am satisfied with the way they have been playing. However, I trust that they will only get better with each next round and ultimately defend the World Champion title.”
Eli Tadeu seems already to have won the sympathies of the media, photographers in particular. One of them observed today that while Tadeu may not become the best on the team, he has already won the “Best Smile” title.

He is very talented footballer and he play as a attacker , but he can play good as a half attacker, or outpost and he played at that positions in his career.
He is not very tall(171cm) but he play very good with haid ,if he got that kind of ball. He is active in all the match ,always full of energy for running , strong and agresive player.
But because of that agresive play he know to get red card and he know how to make other players mad.He is very popular in Brazil, and one of the most talented player in country of Samba, that’s why he played in young national team of Brazil. Biggest problem of Eli sometimes is agresive play , that was always step back in his career. But we should expect coach Dusan Bajevic to quiet him down.

At Golden Games in Dallas,they beat in first game Cannada-98:69, in second Argentina-107:90 and in third Lituania-73-72.
Agenst Canada they showed great game and at half time they win.They were better team in all match so our coach Miroslav Muta Nikolic gave a chance to all the players and all of them scores points.

In second game agenst Argentina ,we were laeding all the match.It was a fast game and ball was lot of time in hands of SG and PG so they got most points.They got 14 made shots for 3 point (14-33).

Third game was close and with dramtic end.But young players with bigg hards took their chance to win in third game too.Just 9 player played but they were very good.

Scandal,never hearden,should i even write about basketball when no ones know how much people are injured or is anyone death?!All that in final of play-off in country of World Champions in Indianopolis(2001),in match that should be big day of our basketball,triumph of the season.
Basketball died in Pionir.9 minutes and 40 secondes from the end of the game at tribines start big conflikt of police and RED STAR supporters(DELIJE) that culminate by disruption of cage and supporters falled from tribines to parter(about 3-4 meters high).Than players(heroes) of RED STAR run to the tribines to disable catastrophe.
Is it important who is responsible,when something like this happened?Delije was revolted with desition of Partizan to get just 400 cardes from this match and that can be reason of this happening.
Of course,when it's question about antagonism of RED STAR and Partizan both side will bring out their viewing of truth.It could be seen at court until it was waiting for desition,what are the relationship between 2 of our best clubs.Presidents was talking like worst enemies.
That's what like is our basketball in last few years,clubs divided,don't exsist universal interest.

After (one more) dramatic game,Partizan took lead in final seria of Serbian play-off.Game wasn't so good,but it's been one big fight for every ball.
Partizan played first game after beating Future and RED STAR played after hard game agenst FMP in semi-final,and with injured best player Milan Gurovic.Next game is playing in 2 days.

Very dramatic end ,both team could've win,but Red Star's playmaker Gerrod Henderson stol the ball from Branko Jorovic and-celebration start.
Red Star's PF couldn't play(injury) but other players show one very good game and they desirve to go to final of play-off.
